Launch Week 1: Everything We Shipped
Five products in five days: the Email API, React Email v2, the Webhook Explorer, the Deliverability Dashboard, and the MCP Server. Here's what we learned.
We ran our first Launch Week in February 2026 — five consecutive days of product announcements. Launch weeks are a format pioneered by Supabase and loved by developer communities because they force a team to ship things that are genuinely done, not vaporware. Here's everything we shipped and what we learned from doing it.
Day 1: Email API v2
The new API features a redesigned request schema, idempotency keys, and a batch endpoint that accepts up to 100 sends per request. Response times improved by 40% thanks to a new routing layer that selects the optimal sending region based on the recipient's MX records.
Day 2: React Email v2
React Email v2 ships with 30 new components, a completely rewritten preview server with hot module replacement, and a new export format that generates both HTML and plain-text from a single component tree.
Day 3: Webhook Explorer
The Webhook Explorer is a developer tool that shows every webhook event fired by Sendbound in real time, with the full payload, the delivery status of the webhook, and a one-click replay button. It's the missing debugger for email infrastructure.
Day 4: Deliverability Dashboard
The Deliverability Dashboard shows inbox placement rates by domain, blocklist status for your sending IPs and domains, DMARC report aggregation, and bounce rate trends — all in one place, updated in real time.
Day 5: MCP Server
The Sendbound MCP Server lets AI agents like Claude and Cursor send emails, manage contacts, and query delivery analytics through natural language. It's the first email infrastructure product with native AI agent support.
